New Beginnings

Hey guys! This is Haley, Rick's sister. It's been a while but we're finally back up and running. I will be taking over the website from here on out along with Phil Rogers, a great friend of the family. We will be periodically updating the front page as well as the blog portion of the website. It's a new beginning for all of us... getting through this period of grief, preparing for restoration and beginning the celebration. This website will be here and going strong for as long as we are here. There are links on the front page of the four ministries that Rick championed... and in his memory, we firmly support as well. These links are to Compassion International, Passion, BigStuf and Rick's church, Mountain Lake Church.

I encourage you to keep checking back for updates as we will be back here everyday to keep you posted. You will be hearing from my mom, my sister Candi and my sister-in-law Suzanne. We love you all so much and we are so glad to be back.

In Him,

Haley

Hi Haley. It was such a blessing to see you at Mountain Lake with your family. I know that life continues to be difficult for all of you as time goes by but know that you are loved and covered in prayer as you walk through this time of grief carried by the One who carried the cross for you. It is wonderful to see this blog up and running. I have missed it and the connection it was for me and so many others. The Lord worked in each one of us to bring comfort, peace, togetherness and love to each other. It really was and continues to be something special. We are forever changed by the experience and by being touched by your family. I look forward to what this new season has in store for each one of us as we step forward in faith. God loves you and so do I! Teri

Father, thank You for placing us in Your family, for giving us the heritage of all those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Help us to never forget the amazing, miraculous ways that You have worked in and through this family. We want to remember to tell everyone what You have done and always, we want Your praise on our lips and in our hearts; praise for what You have done, for what You are doing and praise for what You will do! What an amazing ride! In the precious Name of Jesus, Amen

Thank you for continuing to update us...it is truly a journey of amazement and wonder. I listen to Rick's CD often - I've made a copy of my original so I don't wear it out - and feel peace. You are all in my thoughts.

In Him,
Stephanie

This evening I had Rick on my mind. I don't knot why but I was led to this web site. I am a member at MLC and I miss Rick. My wife and I talk about Rick alot, and miss his Elvis appeal. Though he is with King now, he was the King of the stage at MLC.I truely hope that his fmily is doing well and we hope to see you guy's at MLC very soon. You guy's should consider keeping his site on and making it a prayer chain site. Let's keep his spirit alive, we love and miss him dearly!
