SO AMAZING!
Our dear friends...
Once again we have been completely blown away by you and the way God has used you. To those of you who attended the concert last night, thank you! For those of you who didn't, we had an outstanding time together.
Around 800 of you showed up in great spirits, ready to remember, celebrate, learn, enjoy, and GIVE... and boy, did you give! I wanted to let all of you know that altogether, we raised over $10,000 for the memorial fund! Because of your generosity and excitement in continuing the legacy of Rick, we are going to be able to not only cover all of the medical and funeral expenses, but we have a huge jumpstart in the support of the four ministries we informed you of last night: Compassion International, Youth Ministry Resources (Bigstuf), Mountain Lake Church, and Passion Conferences.
SO AMAZING!!!!!!!
God exceeded all of our expectations for this benefit! Thank you all for being a part of that, even if you weren't able to be there. I believe it was honoring to my brother.... I believe it was honoring to our God!
Please keep reading, as we hope to keep updating on this site fairly often. It is through this site that we will make you aware of future fundraisers, as well as give you updates as to how we've been able to use the funds specifically for each ministry.
Thank you again!
WE WIN!

WOW! Thank you for an awesome evening of music but it was so much more than that, it was community bursting at the seams with thanksgiving and love! It was what any occasion is with your family, a celebration of faith! I thank God for the opportunity to join you worship and praise. Know that you are in my prayers as you continue on the path God has set before you in ministry through music and testimony. I know it will not be easy at times, we were not promised that, but we were promised that we do not go it alone. Feel the arms of a merciful, loving Father as He carries you through this season. Also feel the love and prayers that surround and lift you each and every day from so many who share in the love of your brother, who showed us how to live our lives as a love sacrifice to our Savior. We truly will never be the same.

Friday night was absolutely WONDERFUL! I brought a non believing friend and she was blown away by the talent and by the love in the room. She gave a few dollors but didn't feel it was enough so she's planning to send more soon. Rick's life is still influencing folks here. I'm looking into sponsoring another Compassion child since the concert. What a blessing! Thank you Lord for using the terrible tragedy of Rick's illness so powerfully!
Thank you, thank you for doing the concert Folks! It was very honoring to our Lord God!

Ironically, Lanny and I were at The Compassion International Global Conference in Colorado Springs and missed the concert. We would love to have a DVD of the concert if it was taped. By the way, after having been with the Compassion people all weekend we are assured, more than ever, that it is a God-driven ministry and is accomplishing much for the Kingdom! I'm glad it is on Rick's list of favorite ministries!

The concert was amazing! Every artist, song, video, and speaker was fantastic and the closing song was definitely an awesome way to end such a wonderful evening! It's so powerful to see you all praising God, even through such hard times. You are all so amazing! I continue to pray frequently that God holds you up through this and that you will "walk by faith, even when you can't see."

Hi I came across the site and was encouraged. God is everywhere and in every detail. I wanted to say, what my mom used to say (she too passed at Northside Feb 2002).
"Go God!"
So when you see amazing things happen around you say it outloud..
