9/3/05 p.m. update
Our family,
We are coming to the end of another encouraging day. The small family here- my husband, my parents and sister, my future sister-&-law and her mom- all gathered around a small tv to watch a video of personal testimonies of God's healing power in their lives. It was such a powerful time of strength and hope and rejoicing in our Healing God! We then spent a wonderful time of prayer together, afterward leaving that little room in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit with a renewed hope and excitement.
The doctors have nothing else to add today; more shrugs, half-smiles, and puzzled brains. We don't get it either! How Great is our God that we don't have to! He is continuing to draw His crowd as my brother sleeps. So, we continue to do what we know is best and most effective- pray! Thank you for holding us up in this way. As we watched those stories of God's divine intervention today, what struck us most powerfully was the intense prayer that surrounded each of those individuals. We stand amazed at this same covering that we are so blessed to have surrounding Rick and the family. Thank you.
We'll sleep tonight, resting in Him and the prayers that you offer up on our behalf... and God will receive His glory!
His.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day . . . If you make the Most High your dwelling- even the Lord, who is my refuge- then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands so you will not strike your foot against a stone . . . "Because he loves me,"says the Lord,"I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowleges My Name. He will call upon Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation. Psalm 91:1-5;9-12;14-16
May He give you rest for the night and new mercies for the morning. You are loved! God of wonder, continue to baffle, may there be no doubt as to Who you are and what You are able to do through a faithful man and his family. What an awesome, mighty, amazing God You are but also a loving, compassionate, merciful Father. Continue to hear and answer the cries of your children for the healing of precious Rick and now little Maggie. You are a healing God as well. I know Rick will be healed in Your time but we ask that that time be now, Father. You tell us to ask so we are asking as we trust in Your divine wisdom and plan for complete healing of Rick's mind and body. Restore his counts and numbers, functions and abilities to normal. May he wake in the morning singing and praising our heavenly Father and our wonderful Brother and Savior, Jesus. To You be the Glory and into Your hands we give everything. Amen and Amen Teri

yes, do sleep well little family. i pray that your sleep will be as peaceful as rick's is. i'm trusting that God is intimately keeping rick's heart at rest- still wooing him by His love, still whispering sensible phrases into his ears, and still holding his torn body in His own arms.
i pray daily and my prayers will not cease. for rick. for you, candi. for your husband, jonathan. for your parents. for suzanne. and for mrs hardy. for ricks close friends. and also for this body that prays for you all, that we will not grow weary or apathetic in our praying.
love you all.

Dear Pearson and Hardy families,
I just got home from Saturday night services at MLC. I was so thankful on one hand to have Jeffrey there leading worship, knowing that Maggie is getting better...yet missing Rick so! I could picture Rick and hear his voice as Jeffrey sang the words. I'm glad today was a good day for Rick and for you all! I will continue to pray my prayer of healing for Rick and peace for you all.
Love,
Jenny

Dear Pecious family,
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might
He increases strength.
Even the youth shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall.
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
(They shall sing and play their guitar).
As we know Rick will.

Praise be to our Heavenly Daddy for Rick celebrating one more day! Thank You, Jesus, for keeping Rick in the palm of Your hand. We will wait and pray, wait and pray, wait and pray for Your timing. We know You are in control. In this we are able to rest. Keeping our eyes on You we are at peace, giving You all the glory and honor.
All of your family and loved ones are in my daily prayers to The Father.
InHisLove,
Mary of NPCC

I'm encouraged that you are encouraged. We pray for that each day for you and all your family. I read these verses yesterday morning thinking of all of you, reading over them again this morning just wanting to share with you all. "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage" (Ps 27:14) Have you not known? Have you not heart? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint(what an awesome promise) or grow weary..... He gives power to the faint,(oh, yes he does) and to him who has no might he increases strength(he is increasing Rick's strength right now) Isa. 40:28 Fear not, for I am with you ; do not be dismayed, for I am your God ; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Isa. 41:10 You have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall. Isa. 25:4 The testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.Heb. 10:35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.(The reward that waits all of you) For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. Heb.10:36 How strengthening is his Word his truth. May you all rest peacefully tonight knowing the Almighty God is watching over you. Much love in Christ!!!

"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"
1 Corinthians 2:8-10
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:17-19
Praise God for His Word!
Have a wonderful night. We look forward to rejoicing even more! Praise God for His wonderful works!
Love to you all,

How true and amazing is this verse?
Isaiah 43:2-4
When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through the waters of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fires of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt, Ethiopia, and Seba as a ransom for your freedom. Others died so tht you might live. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me and I LOVE YOU!!

Still praying and praying and praying. Also, still believing. As the song says, "I can see a rainbow coming!"

To Everyone:
I just received the CD with "Even When" on it and have played it several times. This song about Faith says it all and Rick when you sang it, I know you are of strong Faith. Tonight as all of you rest, your Faith surrounds you as God pours out his love and healing to perform this miracle.
What a wonderful blessing it is to have a family such as yours, who through all the ups and downs, continue to trust God for healing.
God has a special place in His heart for all of you and He is giving you the strength to face each day. I am praying along with many others and these prayers will not go unanswered because we all have FAITH and know that He is listening to all of us and knows how much we want this miracle. God bless you all and when you close your eyes tonight, know that God will keep His watch on you and protect you and love you.
Love,
Elaine
