URGENT URGENT
Friends,
Rick is in GREAT need of your prayers. His Bilirubin level is up to 25. At this point, the doctors are expecting organ failure to begin. He is completely unresponsive. His pupils do not react to light. Please pray...call everyone you know to pray. Since this is Saturday, we'll need a phone chain going as people may not be near emails. Please spread this word and pray for our brother!!

I am in much prayer for Ricky.......I specifically pray to remind God that there are so many ways Ricky can continue to bring His children into His fold....thru his voice, his talents, his witness on this earthly home and I have described the ways in which He needs him.....the ways that Hannah and I have personally witnessed him to have with others, especially young people. I find myself praying at school quietly to myself during meetings, conferences, etc. He is constantly in my thoughts and in Roy's. Much love to all of you and hope you got my cards.

As I read Rick's blog this am, I am reminded of the memories of this exact same scene we experienced on Friday October 15, 2004 with Jay. My tears as I read are tears of pain for the agony I know you all are feeling. Our God is a good God and we have to believe that this pain is all a part of his Big Picture for Rick and us all. We love you so much Rick! You and your family have constantly been in our thoughts and prayers for the past weeks. We will continue with our prayers and ask everyone we know to do so as well. God has His hands all over this situation. May His pure and perfect will be done. We can't wait to hear you sing again at MLC. We love you Rick!!

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Your family as you know is my family. As I sit here reading all of these wonderful messages that are being sent to Rick I remember back to how much of a LIGHT your family is and God will acknowledge that in your times of storms. I remember Rick would always tell me when I went though some of the worst times in my life "God will never put to much on you that you can not handle" and I say that to you now as a daughter and a sister in Christ.We will pray for Gods total and abundant healing on Ricks life and for peace and comfort on the family. This is Marsha (McAnally) from high school. I've been following this site for a couple of days now since I learned about what you're going through. You are the last person I ever thought something would happen to. I've been praying for you constantly and have asked everyone I know to pray for you as well. I ask God every time I pray to give me a scripture-something to cling to and know that you will be ok. HE finally gave me one and each time I read it, I am comforted by the fact that you WILL beat this. "The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not hurt you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all evil and preserves your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever." (Psalm 121: 5-8)

We do not know you personally but have had the privledge of hearing and seeing Rick sing at Mountain Lake where we are members. Rick your unbelievable talent of singing and leading worship is what drew us to Mountain Lake and thus we found our church home! You are such a shining light to so many and we are so thankful for you. You are in our prayers daily and we are praying that you would be completely healed and for peace and comfort for your family. God is the great physician and I truly believe He will lay His healing hands upon you Rick! We cannot wait to see and hear you back up on stage at ML- it's just not the same without you! Our family is praying for Rick and for all of you. God is good and His hands are always with us. As God had done so many times for Bryant in his 3 1/2 years on this earth He can do for Rick.... and that is my prayer. As in Romans 8:32 says......He who did not spare his own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also,along with Him,graciously give us all things? That is one of the verses I stand on for Bryant and I will also trust in the same for Rick.

Just wanted to let you know you are on our minds and heart. Man we are praying for you. I believe God will heal you and you can give the praise and glory for it like I know you will. I remember all of Royal Ranger campouts and trips I miss them days. Tell Billy and Elaine we are praying for them and if there is anything we can do for them to respond back, anything around the house just let us know. You all are in our prayers. While it is hard to understand why all of this is happening I know that we need to remember that we need to give thanks to God in all circumstances. In the Purpose Driven Life book it says that what happens outwardly in your life is not as important as what happens inside you. Paul said, "We know that these troubles produce patience. And patience produces character."
We have to all have faith in God and that he knows what the end result is. He is in control. He loves Rick and will never leave his side. God is going through this with us all. Thank you so much for keeping us informed.

Called mom this am and gave her the update, then called Pastor Kilpatrick. He said he would go to prayer as soon as he got of the phone.
We've got a prayer chain going here in Marianna, and we are rebuking the Devil and believing GOD to restore Rick's health.

Rick, please get strong and fight! It sounds like there are a lot of people effected by all you are going through. The Spirit is making Himself known around that hospital!

I felt lead of the Lord to pass on to you a divine message that we received during my husband's own battle with Leukemia. This was sent to us by someone we did not know either, but who obviously was a fellow sister in Christ that allowed the Holy Spirit to work through her. I hope this brings as much comfort to you all as it did to us, as this applies so well to every single one of us. You are all uplifted in prayers moment by moment.

Because I knew even before I created the earth that you would accept My love for you, and that you would seek to know Me thus...
In the beginning I created the heavens and the earth. Then at the right time and in the right place I created you. I created your inner most being, I created every part of you, I knit you together in your mother's womb. Our family has been in constant prayer for Rick and your family since the moment we heard of Rick being sick. I know God has a wonderful plan through this trial that you are all going through. What a testimony you will tell!!!
I look at the pictures of Rick and can't help but remember the dramas Rick was in and how everyone that watched him were caught up in his character. What talent and joy. We are praying for God's perfect will, for peace and comfort for Rick and for your family.

I just wanted to say that I am praying day and night for your safety Rick!! Words can't express how horrible this makes me feel. My youth group continues to pray also.
Just as a final comment, I wanted to thank you for the amazing praise and worship you helped lead at Big Stuf. God has given you an amazing talent and you are doing just what you should with it. You are using it for his glory!
I will keep on praying for you and I know you will get better.
